We grew up beside a holy river that shaped my childhood—playing, swimming, and finding peace on its banks. As life moved on, work and routine took me to a metro city, and my time with the river slowly faded.

Years later, We took our daughter to see the river we loved. But we couldn’t step in—foam, dirt, and unsafe water stopped us. We returned quietly.
On another trip to Uttarakhand, we visited the river’s origin. There, my daughter played freely in clean water. On our way back, she asked, “Papa, why is the same river clean here but dirty in our city?”
That question stayed with me.

As a researcher, I looked deeper and saw city drains flowing into the river. I learned that most urban water pollution comes from homes—daily cleaning, kitchens, and laundry. Chemical cleaners add heavily to this load. Pollution, I realised, doesn’t start in factories; it starts at home.

At that time, I was running a chemical-based B2B cleaning business. This realisation changed my path. I shifted to plant-based, safer solutions and received strong acceptance from institutions. But real change, I knew, would happen only when these solutions reached homes.
That belief led to Green—fruit-enzyme cleaning that works with nature. We may not clean the entire river, but we can start at home. Because care begins at home and must flow back to the river.
